Our measurement methods for cleanrooms in a nutshell

AIRTEC offers a great variety of measurement methods to go with the cleanroom classification and requirements of the customer. We define the necessary methods and depth of measurement with you at the start of the project. To ensure that your cleanrooms operate reliably, we carry out our measurements in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 14644 and VDI 2083 standards.

Our measurement methods for cleanrooms in a nutshell:

Measurement of the biological and physical parameters in cleanrooms:

  • Particle determination for recovery testing and cleanroom classification
  • Measurement of room pressure and differential pressures
  • Measurement of air velocity and air flow
  • Determination of the air exchange rate
  • Bacteria counts in the air and on surfaces
  • Measurement of light intensity
  • Sound level measurement
  • Temperature and humidity measurements

Filter system measurements:

  • Tight-seating checks and leakage tests for terminal HEPA filters
  • Differential pressure measurement of the filters
  • Air loss measurements in channel systems
  • Bacteria counts in filter systems, humidifiers and cooling water

Other measurement and analysis methods

  • Flow visualisation
  • Identification of bacteria
  • Tests for legionella
  • Hygiene tests in accordance with VDI 6022
